Andre Perez: Biomedical Engineer from TugScie

Andre Perez is a Grade 12 student at Tuguegarao City Science High School, also known as Tugscie. His passions revolve around doing environmental works and advocacies as well as fostering community service through STEM. He is the current president of YES-O, an environmental & science organization, the STEM section head editor and photojournalist of Tuguegarao City Scribes, and the founder of EINSpiRE, an organization that gives free STEM education to high school students.

Cedie Pelaez: Math Vlogger and YouTuber from QSHS

Charles Dwight Pelaez is a Grade 12 Math and Science enthusiast from Quezon Science High School. He enjoys the music of well-known artists Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes, as well as OPM music and hip hop. He also plays a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. His hobbies include playing games ranging from mind games (like sudoku, chess, and checkers) to mobile games (like Mobile Legends).

Ancelmo Miguel Catalla: Science Journalist from QCSHS

Ancelmo Miguel Catalla is a Grade 11 student from Quezon City Science High School (Quesay). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Velocity, Quesay’s official student publication, alongside Redshift, the publication’s newsletter. He is very fond of campus journalism and sees it not only as his outlet for spreading awareness regarding the knowledge he and other science high school students are fortunate enough to learn, but also for his personal growth and awareness regarding political and social issues, most especially for the marginalized.

Meet Issam Wang, a Grade 12 student from Manila Science High School. Sam is an international student from Taiwan, but he started studying in the Philippines ever since 1st Grade.

Nyah Cataquis: Aspiring Neuroscientist from MSHS

Nyah Cataquis is a Grade 12 student and current Student Council Vice President of Manila Science High School. While being a member of the Student Council, she still enjoys her free time by cooking for her family and friends or by playing a variety of online games!

Tricia Cabais: Actress-turned-Scholar from PSHS-CLC

Meet Tricia Cabais: a Grade 11 student from Philippine Science High School – CLC, currently taking Physics as her core and Computer Science as her elective. She enjoys a variety of interests: programming, reading and fashion-related things, such as dressing up, crocheting, and slow fashion. Aside from these, she loves creating and editing her own YouTube videos!

Lois Tanglao: Climate Reality Leader from PSHS-CLC

Lois Tanglao is a Grade 11 student studying at Philippine Science High School – CLC. She is part of Climate Reality, an organization which advocates for fighting against climate change, and on top of that, she loves music, dance, and “the arts.” She also has a YouTube channel, “The Lois Lens,” dedicated to organization and self-care. Fun fact: she’s also a big fan of Notion! 

Dona Marabe: STEMinist from PSHS-MC

Dona Marabe is an 18-year-old senior at Philippine Science High School – Main Campus who’s been taking Physics, Engineering, and Technology. While being a science high school student, she is also WiTech Manila’s Vice President for Internal Relations, the owner of a couple of hamsters, and an avid Netflix binge-watcher.

Celver Ortiz: Service-Oriented Scholar from PSHS-MC

Celver Ortiz is a Grade 10 student studying in Pisay who is a part of various service-oriented clubs and circles. Aside from his passion for STEM, he has always joined service-oriented organizations such as the Student Council and the Big Brother-Sister Circle in his high school.
